Beware of the Phishing Website Impersonating Codashop!

There is an ongoing concern that shoppers have been falling for fake diamond top-up scams on fake Codashop websites. Scammers lure shoppers by promising free diamonds and leading them to a look-a-like Codashop website.

Any top-up performed on the fake page will be redirected to the scammer’s account instead.

These are the common types of scams you need to look out for when performing a top-up:

  1. Account advertising phishing websites on Facebook groups;

  2. When typing “Free Diamonds” on Youtube’s search bar;

  3. Fake Twitter accounts informing users on how to hack free diamonds and redirecting them to their page;

  4. Vloggers saying free diamonds on videos encouraging users to check phishing links on the video description;

How to protect yourself from losing your money to fake websites?

  • Never click on any suspicious links on social media;
